Warranties

What's covered, for how long, and what to do if something goes wrong.

Manufacturer warranties All equipment we supply comes with the manufacturer's standard warranty. For most products, this is 12–24 months, covering manufacturing defects. We'll tell you the specific warranty period when you purchase.

What manufacturer warranties typically cover:

  • Faults present at the time of purchase
  • Manufacturing defects that develop during the warranty period
  • Component failure under normal use

What manufacturer warranties typically don't cover:

  • Physical damage caused by drops, water or misuse
  • Battery wear
  • Consumable parts (ear tips, cables, domes)
  • Damage from incorrect installation (which is why we recommend professional setup)

iHear aftercare guarantee On top of the manufacturer warranty, we stand behind the equipment we supply and the installations we carry out. If something we've installed develops a problem related to our work, we'll put it right.

For Access to Work equipment: If your equipment is funded through Access to Work, the grant usually covers replacement costs for faulty equipment within the warranty period. We can liaise with Access to Work on your behalf.
