Ampetronic CLS1 Wall Mount Perimeter Audio Induction Loop Driver

CLS1, from Ampetronic, is a wall-mounted Induction Loop Amplifier for use with a perimeter induction loop. Based on room perimeter dimensions the area coverage is up to 200m².

The amplifier has a tamper-resistant, hinged and detachable lid to protect and secure the connections and controls. The physical dimensions are 200mm x 200mm x 44mm. There are three independent inputs for balanced microphone, balanced and unbalanced line, low impedance and 100V - line speaker systems.

Cable routing

20mm diameter knock-outs 2 on the top edge, 4 on the rear face, 4 on the bottom edge, are available for routing cables into the unit.

Cable connections

The input cable connections are made with screw terminals mounted on one side of the PCB. There is a chassis-mounted screw terminal block for the Mains power connections. The  Loop connection is made to a screw terminal pair mounted on the PCB.  A detailed label, on the case interior, illustrates all the cable connections

Indicators

3 LED indicators are visible with the case open or closed:

• AGC Amber LED lit when the input signal is activating the automatic gain control
• Current Green LED lit when current is running in the loop
• Power Green LED lit when the unit has power

Controls

The unit's five controls can only be accessed with the lid open. They are all adjustable with a screwdriver.
