Deafgard Fire Alerter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Deafgard is battery operated and sits at the side of the bed. A vibration pad is placed underneath your pillow or mattress and when the fire alarm sounds the pad vibrates, the bright lights on the Deafgard flash and the screen displays “FIRE”. The unit also has an alarm clock. The batteries used are 4 off type C (LR14).

Deafgard is factory set to be triggered into a fire alarm condition at 75dB(A), as recommended by BS 5839-1:2002.
