Roger Focus II is a rechargeable wireless receiver used mainly by children in education who don't wear a hearing aid but require some technology to help them focus on what the teacher is saying. The ability for a child to focus at school can be difficult, due to noise levels and other distractions, but there is the added challenge if a child has unilateral hearing loss (UHL), is affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD ) or auditory processing disorder (APD).
The Focus II is used with any of the Roger for Education products. It has its own volume control and available 10 different colours. The Focus II takes 3 hours to charge. Roger Focus is rated at IP68 providing protection against sweat and in light rain. As well as the rechargeable version there is also a battery operated option the Roger Focus II-312.
This receiver is compatible with all the Phonak Roger Microphones: Roger Touchscreen Mic, Pass-around Mic, Roger On V2, Roger On iN V2, Roger Select, Select iN, Clip-on Mic, Table Mic II, Table Mic iN II and also Roger Soundfield.
The Roger Focus II receiver is not compatible with any of the older generation of Phonak Radio Aids - SmartLink, ZoomLink, EasyLink or lower specified inspiro's.
