Geemarc's CL100 has been on the market now for over 10 years and is still one of the UK's most popular and reliable Amplified Telephones. The handset has an inductive coupler allowing people with hearing aids or cochlear implants to switch to the T or loop setting and use the phone. Another two features of this telephone is the user adjustable volume control that increases the callers voice up to 30dB along with a tone control that helps with frequency loss. It is easy to use with the volume and tone controls accessible on the top side of the telephone allowing you to make adjustments during a call. To indicate there is an incoming call the phone has a loud visual ring indicator and flashing light. If the person using this amplified phone is softly spoken there is a speech volume adjustment to increase the volume of their speech. The CL100 has large buttons with large fonts making it beneficial for people with poor vision, elderly people and people with poor manual dexterity including arthritis and RSI. Geemarc designed the phone for hearing loss but it is also used by small businesses, for example hairdressers and garages, who have noisy background environments helping employees hear customers. No external power supply is used as this phone is powered from the telephone socket. This amplified phone is for moderate hearing loss if your hearing loss is greater Geemarc also manufacture phones the AMPLIPOWER 40 and AMPLIPOWER 50 that have more volume.
