The Comfort Contego is a unique, easy to use FM Radio Aid designed to improve and enhance the quality of sound for deaf, hearing aid wearers and hard of hearing people. Hearing aid wearers use the neckloop receiver and set their hearing aid(s) to the T position while hard of hearing or hearing impaired people use the neckloop receiver with headphones or earphones. The Comfort Contego comprises of a transmitter and a receiver. The units have clear menus for ease of set up and use. Both the transmitter and receivers have microphones with zoom function, to eliminate background noise, for omni or directional settings. The receiver has an integral microphone and volume control and can work independently from the the transmitter, for certain situations. Unlike conventional FM Radio Aids, Contegos's modern digital processing system provides high quality sound over secure coded channels. The system is ideal for many lifestyle situations including in the home watching TV, without having the volume disturbing others by connecting to the SCART socket , work, education, in the car, shopping and social life. The sound kit provided has connections to various sound sources TV, stereo, PC, games consoles.
