ihear keeps Superdrug’s hard of hearing customers "in the loop"

Superdrug Stores plc, one of the UK’s leading health and beauty retailers, has chosen iHear to provide induction loop systems to make shopping easier for its hard of hearing customers.

As part of its expansion and refresh programme, Superdrug has installed the MiniLoop® Mains induction loop system in over 400 stores throughout the UK.

‘We thoroughly assessed equipment from six vendors’, said a spokesperson from Superdrug’s Health, Safety and Insurance Department, ‘out of these iHear proved to be easy to install, simple to use, reliable and great value for money.’

She added: ‘At Superdrug we take our responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act very seriously. We want to treat all customers the same and offer good customer service. The MiniLoop helps us deliver this high level of service to our customers who have hearing difficulties.’
